頂級揚聲器的最高科技、工藝、人才在北歐由很多，其中尤以挪威西雅士（SEAS）為著名。SEAS（SCANDINAVIANELECTRO　ACOUSTIC　SYSTEMS的縮寫）廠址設立在挪威首都奧斯陸以南約60公里的工業城莫斯鎮附近，那里風景如畫，四周綠蔭圍繞，一座玻璃幕墻的現代化廠房屹立其中，看上去好象跟大自然融合在一起。

西雅士最早成立于1948年，從1951年開始就專門生產高級發燒喇叭至今，同時還不斷開發新的技術。1967年率先采用橡膠邊及四層音圈新技術于205mm和255mm低音單元上。在60年代末與70年代初期由SEAS廠生產的由255mm低音和38mm高音單元組成的DYNACO-A25二路音箱已赫赫有名，行銷世界各地多年，獲得當時發燒友的深贊賞。經過四十多的發展，現今生產的流行款式近200款，行銷20多個國家，成為世界上最成功的高級揚聲器制造廠之一。

西雅士得以風靡世界，這不僅僅在于其采用先進的材料及工藝上的精鑄細工以及嚴格的品質控制，更得益于其雄厚的技術開發實力保證下的靈活經營方針。能為客戶設計、開發、訂做各式超乎要求的單元。不論是鎂鋁合金架或玻纖加固面板的特別設計，還是各種振膜材料的不同選擇，抑或中置球頂的創新設計，均可滿足。尤其在小口低音單元110mm、125mm、165mm（可達40Hz左右的下限頻響）的卓越成就，更是馳名世界。
